Try to Say YES Sometimes, Or Even Better Say it Everyday
When we say NO, we refuse something, obviously. But, more interesting is why we say no. In many cases, we refuse something that we don’t like, and that’s fine. We don’t like to do something and this is perfectly understandable. But, in some cases we refuse something because we are afraid. People who often say no, are over thinkers. They think about everything and they must know every scenario that may happen if they accept some proposal.
You cannot predict the future, we all know this. So, thinking about what can happen is irrelevant. You will lose time and you will end up with a headache. However, a headache will pass, but your wrong decision will stay wrong forever. The opportunities you have missed cannot be reused. If you think that you are risking if you say yes to something, you are wrong. Risk is jumping from a plane, but going somewhere tonight isn’t. We usually say no to things like going out, dating and things related to work.
Tomorrow when you wake up, start saying yes. You can even try a simple experiment. Say yes to 10 first things that happen to you. For example, if your friend invites you to a party (but you don’t want to go) say yes and go! Who knows what can happen. You will notice that doing things you can do is interesting and you will want to do them again. If you don’t like saying yes to life challenges, simply stop. No is always there for you. But, I guarantee you that this lifestyle is much better and you will enjoy it.
