Avoid Spending Too Much Time before the Television

Perform Meditation and Yoga at Home
Do yoga and meditation in the early morning. Start with simple yogic exercises and then process to more complex moves. It would be a good idea to perform yoga under the supervision of an instructor who is well trained and who is also known to be patient with his pupils. As far as meditation is concerned you should try doing this for about three to four minutes at a stretch at first and if you are successful, opt for meditating over a longer span of time, such as over seven to ten minutes. Clarity of mind is something that you are certain to achieve when you do this.
Try Not to Eat Junk Food
While junk food is sumptuous, try to stay away from it as much as possible. These foods contain trans fat which can prove to be dangerous for your personal health.
