The Truth about Motivation
There are many books and websites that say they can help you when you are sad or depressed. Many therapists are saying that as well. I want to tell you something completely opposite. There is no reason for books, therapist or any kind of help! You probably think that it isn’t true and that in order to feel better you need help. But let me ask you something, when you go to the therapist, what is he doing with you? Is he giving you some miracle potion or perform some kind of surgery, so you feel better? No, he only talks with you. His goal is to prove you that you are a happy person and the only thing that you must do is to change the way you think! So, why you must go to the therapist, you can do it by yourself.
The second thing I hate is when someone tells you ‘’look at other people, they are in a worse situation than you.’’ But, I am not interested in someone’s life, I want my life to be better! The point is not to pay attention to how other people live. You have your life and depending only on you, it can be better or worse. The secret is that every person has many reasons to be happy, but he/she simply don’t see them. When you start paying attention to them, you will feel better. You don’t need motivational books as well. They cannot solve your problems, they can only tell you that you can be happy, so don’t use them. Simply, remember that you are a strong person and you can do anything you want!
