Motivation is the foundation in everything we do. You cannot force yourself to be better in anything if you are not motivated enough.
When it comes to athletes, they must have the same attitude. It's not always about your sport performances and your results, because sometimes they may vary, but what is also one of the most important things is mental factor.

Even if you fall, you need to stand up and simply continue to do your thing. It is really easy for athletes to have a broken spirit, because they have competitive spirit, that's why you need to practice both, your physical and mental strength and learn that you will sometimes win, and sometimes lose.

Motivation in sports is really important, because you will have to face with a lot of sacrifices, pain, fatigue, etc.
You must know that motivation will definitely have an impact on your performance, and great thing about it is that you are the one who has the control over it.
If you are really motivated, it will improve your performance, and it will definitely raise your game.

You need to be motivated to win constantly, or even if you don't win, motivate yourself to be the best you can.
Sometimes you may not notice that you are feeling low or down, and that you don't have enough motivation.
These are the signs that are definitely showing that you are not on the right track :

1. A lack of desire to work and practice hard, or as you used to.
2. You don't give your maximum.
3. Skipping your training.
So if you notice anything of these three, consult with someone who will be able to help you.
