Having a self-talk
When we need some advice we usually ask our family and friends to help us, but sometimes the only help we can get is actually from us.
It is called a self-talk. You keep asking yourself a lot of questions, because you are pretty sure only you can answer them. Sometimes you even get more answers than you expected.
Then we get to the point when we start having mood-swings because we don’t like the answers we got.
The only time when we are fully satisfied with our life is when we stop asking questions, because everything is crystal clear, and we don’t have to worry about unwanted answers that can spoil our day.
Having a self-talk doesn’t necessarily mean that you should ask yourself anything. It means having a great conversation with yourself, because sometimes we need it.
If you are facing a tough situation in your life you can always sit, think and talk to yourself in order to feel better. No one knows you better than you know you.
You can always talk to your family and friends, and sure they are there for you and can give you a good advice, but at the end of the day you are the one who is making the final decision and the one who has to face every obstacle in your life. No one will do that for you.
So having a self-talk is always a good option. You may discover some things about yourself that you didn’t know. It is worth practicing self-talk because feeling good about yourself is sometimes not so easy, and practicing that can only improve it.
